• Device information: Basic device and browser information used to deliver the app experience.

3. Device Permissions

Commit requests the following device permissions to function properly:

• Camera: Used to capture photos of your Bible reading or commitment. We only access the camera when you explicitly choose to take a photo.
• Photo Library: Used to select existing photos from your device. We only access your library when you explicitly choose to upload a photo.
• Push Notifications: Used to notify you about group activity and accountability milestones.

4. How We Use Your Information

• To operate and display the accountability grid and group features.
• To send push notifications (if you have opted in) about group activity.
• To calculate attendance and engagement statistics shown to group members.
• To improve the app experience over time.

5. Sharing of Information

Your photos and activity are visible to other members of your group. We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We may share data with service providers who help us operate the platform (e.g., cloud storage, authentication), bound by confidentiality obligations.

6. Data Retention

Daily posts older than 9 days are automatically deleted from active storage. Attendance records and account information are retained while your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

7. Push Notifications

If you enable push notifications, your device token is stored to deliver notifications. You can disable notifications at any time through your device settings.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. To exercise these rights, please contact us. We will respond within 30 days.

9. Children's Privacy

Commit is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.
