Commit — Account & Data Deletion

Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone. Please read the steps below carefully before proceeding.

How to delete your account

  1. Log in to the Commit app using your email and password.
  2. Go to Settings (tap the menu icon on the dashboard).
  3. Scroll to the Danger Zone section at the bottom of the Settings page.
  4. Tap "Delete My Account" and confirm. You will be removed from your group and logged out immediately.

What data is deleted

  • Your account profile (name, email)
  • Your group membership
  • Your daily post photos (immediately removed from the grid)
  • Your attendance records
  • Your reactions and commitment photo

What data is retained

No personal data is retained after account deletion. Daily posts are automatically purged after 9 days regardless of account status. Backups may retain anonymized usage data for up to 30 days before permanent removal.

Need help or can't access the app?

If you are unable to log in to delete your account, you can request account deletion by contacting us through the email address associated with your account. We will process your request within 30 days.
